Quick answer

Make your own way: hotel transfers are not included. Patong Boxing Stadium is on Thanon Sainamyen, a short ride inland from Patong Beach, and a Phuket guide site says a tuk-tuk, taxi or ride-hailing car will know the road. Arrive early for good seats, show your voucher at the entrance and agree your ride home before the last bout.

Patong is the beach and town on Phuket's west coast, and Wikipedia calls it the island's main tourist resort and the centre of its nightlife and shopping. The beach runs for 2,850 metres along the west side of the town, Wikipedia says, and became popular with Western tourists in the late 1980s.

Finding the stadium

Patong Boxing Stadium is at 2/59 Thanon Sainamyen, Tambon Patong, in Kathu district. A Phuket guide site describes it as a short ride inland from the beach and says drivers know Sainamyen Road. The other Patong stadium is on Soi Banzaan, about a kilometre away, so check which stadium your voucher names. Booking sites sell both under similar names.

If you stay elsewhere on Phuket

Wikipedia says Phuket is the country's largest island and connects to the mainland by the Sarasin Bridge, with Patong on its west coast. If you stay in another part of the island, add the ride to Patong to your plan before you add the ride to the stadium. The booking does not include hotel transfers, so a longer trip means a longer ride home too, and it is worth settling how you will get back before the evening starts.

By tuk-tuk, taxi or app

The booking does not include hotel transfers, so you pay for the ride yourself. A Phuket guide site suggests a hotel transfer, a tuk-tuk or a ride-hailing car. Tell the driver the stadium name and the road. For the return, settle the ride before the last bout rather than after it.

Timing the evening

Your confirmation carries the date, and fights run in the evening. Since the booking advises arriving early and nobody re-enters, build in time for the ride, the queue at the entrance and the first drink. Phuket guide sites suggest the junior bouts open the card, so arriving a little late means missing only the first fights, but you may also have fewer seats to choose from.

At the entrance

Show the voucher from your booking at the entrance. The booking advises arriving early to secure good seats, and once you are admitted you cannot go out and back in, so finish errands first. The ticket includes a complimentary T-shirt. Food, beverages, personal expenses and extra stadium purchases are not included, so carry a little cash or a card for drinks brought to your seat.

What to wear and bring

The booking gives no dress code or bag rules, so ask the seller if that matters. Keep your voucher on your phone and your phone charged. If you plan to film, remember the booking asks guests to respect the fighters and Muay Thai traditions, which includes not blocking others during the ritual.

Making an evening of it

Wikipedia says Bangla Road is a popular street in Patong with vibrant nightlife, and calls Bangla the most popular walking street in Phuket. A meal or a stroll before the fights fits easily, but allow time to reach the stadium: arriving early is the booking's own advice. Plan the ride home with the same care.

Who this isn't for

A transfer organised for you is not part of this booking. If you stay outside Patong, add travel time to the plan, since the ticket assumes you are making your own way. If you prefer to walk, remember the stadium is a ride inland from the beach, not a stroll along the sand.
